Golf Event Sets Record

After being postponed by thunderstorms last week, the event went off without a hitch on our June 11 rain date at Harmony Landing Country Club. With picture-perfect weather, outstanding sponsors, and 92 enthusiastic golfers, the event set a new fundraising record for a Pillar golf event!

Because of your compassion and generosity, Pillar is able to provide critical supports and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Congratulations to Ross Jordan, Nathan Fort, Brandon DeJean, and Matt Langan, whose team finished in first place!

We’re grateful to our title sponsors, Certilytics and Carewise Health, along with gold sponsor Sterling Thompson Company, silver sponsors ADP and Assured Partners, bronze sponsors Commonwealth Bank & Trust, and United Electric, for their financial support and participation.

And we especially appreciate PGA Champion Justin Thomas for autographing the coveted Titleist hats we included in our raffle!

As sponsor of Pillar Putters, PCA Pharmacy made it possible for our participants and staff to experience the thrill of inclusion – by being on the course with you and by contributing to the success of this event.

The Grisanti Group and Homepage Realty helped get Pillar’s name and mission in front of a nationwide audience by underwriting the Kentucky Sports Radio’s broadcast (on May 29).

Thanks also, to our corporate teams, hole-sign sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and to lunch sponsor LDG, and bar sponsors Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Popp Machine and Tool.

Pillar’s 2019 Golf Committee: Joe Kayse (chair), Ned Booker, Nathan Fort, Ross Jordan, Abe Mulvihill, Brenda Salinas, Jennifer O’Bryan, Hannah Mylor, and Linda Romine.
